We had a beautiful Halloween weekend and we had fun seeing all of the kids with their neat costumes. However, the time went by way too fast and now it is Monday. Therefore, it is time once again for AWMD’s Monday Musings. There are plenty of news items to choose from after the weekend. There are so many possible issues to discuss, it is hard to choose just a few, but I will choose ones that I think you will be interested in. If my “Musing” interests you, let me know what you think. Now that the Teapublicans are already celebrating their possible takeover of the House, they have begun to spew their threats to shut down the government and that they will not compromise on anything! “Ahead of tomorrow’s elections, Republicans have been making clear they have no interest in working across the aisle with Democrats to govern the country, with Republican Conference Chairman Mike Pence (R-IN) vowing “no compromise” and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell saying his first priority with a larger GOP caucus would be to beat President Obama in 2012.” http://thinkprogress.org/2010/11/01/steele-debt-ceiling/ Of course, these guys haven’t cooperated with the Obama Administration for two years, so should any of us be surprised?
