I have been remiss lately in keeping up with my blogging duties here at AWMD. However, one of my New Years resolutions is to regain my regular blogging schedule and I aim to keep that resolution. It has been a scary year, but a good one. My son came back from a tour of duty in Afghanistan with the Marines and made his family and country proud. My Mom turned 88 years young last April and my Grandsons turned 3 and 1 years old this year. Two of my daughters got new jobs and my oldest daughter retained her teaching job while balancing a family and a new home.

My wife and best friend continues to amaze me and intrigue me. My love for her will never diminish with time and we celebrated our 37th anniversary this summer with many more to come. Next year will be an exciting one. In March we will be part of a full military honors funeral ceremony for my deceased Father at Arlington National Cemetery, just days after the 61st anniversary of his passing in a military plane crash. That ceremony has consumed me for the last few months and I am sure it will take up significant portions of my time and energy until March. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I don’t have much, but I am blessed with a loving family and friends. Who could ask for anything more. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and don’t forget to check out Arguewithmydad.com once in awhile along with the Jonathan Turley blog and sometime next year the new blog site, missingcrew.com. See you next year!
